My last period started Dec.10th. In mid-Jan. I had this horrible pain on my lower left side. (Until this, my period had been normal; every 33-36 days) I went to the emergency room, and both blood and urine ruled out preg. They refered me to an OB/GYN. She did a pap, which came back normal. All the bloodwork also came back ok. She said they ruled out PCOS,diabetes, thyroid, etc.She said I "may" have a cyst, but since she couldn't feel it, it wasn't a concern. She put me on provera tablets. Those ended 7 days ago.I've got some bright red bleeding and cramping, but it's not like a normal period. My glucose came back slightly elevated(according to the doctor)She said I needed to lose weight and all would be fine.I need to lose about 40 pounds. Could my weight be behind the sudden loss of my period? She said she ran a cancer test (CA125) and nothing came back abnormal. I just don't "feel" right. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!
