Hello, I am a hygienist. it sounds as though stomach problems may be the cause of your bad breath, and for this you should consult a gastroenterologist. However it would not hurt to address the causes that may be inside the oral cavity. The two most common are periodontal disease and bacteria that grow on the back third (almost down your throat) of the tongue. When you brush after you hav brushed gently scrub the back portion of your tongue with your brush in a side to side stroke. Also you can get a tongue scraper that eliminates all the tiny crevices that allow homes for halitosis causing bacteria to hide and multiply. Also once a day rinse and gargle with PEROXYL, an over the counter mouthwash. This is a peroxide based mouthwash, and is highly effective at controlling the growth if bacteria. FLOSS DAILY, too. Please do not hesitate to consult your hygienist at your regular 6 month(or more often) check up appointments. DO NOT BE EMBARRASSED! It's our job to help! Good Luck and keep me posted Judy Anne
