E....Halitosis can be indicative of stomach problems, as you have learned. Why isn't your Dr. looking deeper into this, since you are done taking the antibiotics? (By the way, I highly recommend you take acidophilous which is good bacteria. See, when you take antibiotics, they kill off bad AND good bacteria. We need the good bac. to help maintain a good balance of the "friendly flora" in our stomach. You can get it in refrigerated section at health food store. It is same thing found in yogurt but you get higher dose in capsules. You should take it daily, ask someone who works at the health food store and be sure to get this ASAP, regardless of whether it will help halitosis, it is helpful for your system overall!). Also, have you had your teeth checked for a bad tooth? What meds do you take otherwise, perhaps they are the culprits? Have you had a complete blood workup done lately? Also, don't hestitate to get a 2nd opinion and I think seeing an Internist might be a good idea, then maybe an Gastrointerologist, if no relief is found. IN the meantime, you can also get some "inner body deodorant." This is a natural item called chlorophyll. This is found in parsley, for one. You can get the chloro. at health food store. ASK, and do take it daily. They have liquid (which I add to water...people wonder what in the world I am drinking!) or capsules. If you can find some kind of natural gum with a peppermint base, that is good for your tummy, too. Peppermint is a natural for upset stomachs and can be taken in tea form or otherwise.
