Yes, my younger brother was helped by room air purification. We could not afford whole house. But clean air is always a good idea when it comes to breathing. Also be sure he is getting 8oz or more of pure/filtered water each day. The way to measure is his urine. If it is dark and has an odor your son is getting dehydrated. Child dehydration will make asthma worse. When it is light in color and has little to no odor then he is getting enough water.
