I am sorry for what you are going through!!! I am sure that as a parent this is very alarming. BUT Please, I urge you NOT to use Lupron. I took it for endometriois in 1992 and have MAJOR health problems because of it! It left scars in my brains as it shuts down your pititary system. It has also bee proven to slow down or STOP blood flow to the frontal lobe of the brain....This info is easy to find and was confirmed with the use of a PET scan. It also broke down my immune system and left me with an IGA defficiancy. Which means I have chronic sinus problems. If I am ever injured a blood transfusion could kill me because of it. I also now have Adie syndrome and optic neuropathy, eye problems and immune problems are VERY common from Lupron. The BIGGEST lie about this drug as that everything will return to normal when the drug is stoped!!! Please, there are experts that claim Lupron will be far worse that Thalomide or DES ever was. Spare your child this!!!!! The risks are too great. There is only ONE use of lupron that I except and that is on male sex offenders as a means of chemical castration. I am more than happy to share them all with you as well as my personal story if you would like to read it. All I ask is that you really research this drug.
