Hi, I read your letter and got the goosebumps. My daughter was four when she was diagnosed with precocious puberty, and it has been a terrible ride since. She too has grown way too much over the years. We went from a size 7 clothes to a 12 plus. Her breast have developed and her pubic hair has sprouted. I am torn right now on what to do to. We have been using the lupron shot.(which I think are terrible)but the doctor keeps assuring me that without them, she will get her ovarian cysts back and that if we rush puberty, it can lead to very serious conditions. I have never met or talked with anyone else that knows what this is. I usually get gasps, or snarls like she is a monster. I would love to meet people that are going through the same emotional roller coaster. I am torn between letting her go through puberty and getting her off the lupron, or keeping her on it, and pray that there aren't going to be any long term effects from it.
