Jeanne, I can fully understand what you are going through. I have had herpes for 17 years, and I know the shame and fear associated with this condition. I have had to deal with the same fears of being alone, or having to reveal to someone I care about the truth about myself. I don't have any answers, but you are not alone. Many people have had many sexual partners and have no diseases. Many people have slept with one person, and get pregnant,get herpes or worse. Sometimes things just happen the way that they do. Herpes is veiled in shame, but you do not have to be filled with shame. What we have is a medical condition that can be treated and controlled. I hope you have a good doctor who can recommend medication that really helps with the physical aspects of the virus. I wish you the very best. Lynne
