Dear Jo, I just lost my mother to Lymphoma cancer. It was something new to us so we had several discusions with her oncologist concerning this. Lymphoma is not a genenic cancer however it is more likely to hit upon someone who has had someone in the family with it. There are more medications now to help with the side effects of chemo and radiation. If the masses are not considerablly large then the chances of being removed by surgery and chemo are good.
