Jo
I discovered a lump under my left arm. When I ask the dr. to take a look, he discovered swollen glands, "not painful" under the other arm and in both groin areas. He mentioned the word "lymphoma" and now has me scheduled for tests. I know how fast these "tests" turn into radical treatments and surgery, an so on. My father, his sister and his mother were all diagnosed with a "lymphatic cancer" all are now dead so I really have no information on their specific diseases. I know that now there are medical advances and treatments available that did not exist 20 and 30 years ago. I have no idea where to even start. Any information as to what questions to ask, what is and is not necessary, or where to go for discussion groups more specific to my "condition??" would be very appreciated. Thanks, Jo
