My mom was told that I possibly had rheumatic fever as a child. I had itching and swelling of both hands and feet. The doctor put me on a series of antibiotics and my mom says it went away. Over the years, however, I have experienced that same type of itching sensation and a little swelling. Recently, I have really had the itching and a little swelling, but now I am itching all over! Does anyone have this itching -- is this associated with rheumatic fever?
