Hi! I can only tell you of MY experience with burning tongue, several years ago. I went to several drs. and nothing was found wrong. I finally figured out the cause myself, and with the help of my dentist! Apparently I was clenching my jaws during the night which probably stopped the blood flow to the tongue, hence the burning, probably the same as when your hand or foot "falls asleep", when the circulation is being cut off. It was during a period of stress for me, which I think was behind the whole thing, so if you are feeling stressed, consider this. It eventually went away when the stress ended! Meanwhile though it did about drive me crazy, it was so annoying. Let me know how you do!
