Let me tell u I had the lasik procedure done about two years ago on 4/20/98, and I have to say that I haven't had any side effects. The procedure only took two minutes, I walked out of there seeing clearly for the first time since I was twelve and singing it's a whole new world. My cousin took me to the laser eye center and was allowed to watch the whole procedure and I think it was quite an experience for her as well. There is only one thing that is different just a little is that my eyes are sensitive to direct sunlight on bright days and I wear my sunglasses while out, but they were also a little sensitive to the sun before so that is why I say it's just a slight change. Other than that I have no complaints.
