If you have any tendencies toward dry eye, DO NOT have the surgery! Go to a cornea specialist to have the procedure done and make sure you are first tested for possible dry eye. I am having lots of problems with dry eye since my lasik surgery 10/8/99. I have had plugs put in my lower ducts.......use celluvisc which is a lubricant at night.....and drops during the day and am still suffering with dry, scratchy eyes which has impaired my vision.
