My son is 20 yrs old and lives with OI, Type I. He has been very lucky playing sports, and receiving only a few breaks. He is a sophomore in college and has a steady girlfriend. He is researching the genetics of having children and the possibility of passing off the OI gene to one of his children. He is also concerned about whether the type would be the same.
