Cindy, I too have RSD from a work related hip injury in May '97 hip injury, the RSD was a result of the delay of treatment almost 2 years before the insurer figured out that I was not BSing about pain, swelling and my leg and foot turning purple. I finally had surgery on the hip but it was too late and on the operating table my femur fractured and boy did the RSD show its uglyness then.
