This problem with your throat closing may have to due with your RSD. I have come across some litature somewhere (memory difficulties) I have RSD too. That does tell of the RSD spreading to the throat. Dr. Hoosmad who is a specialist in the area of RSD has a site on RSD HOPE.ORG, try to see if one of the puzzles talks about the throat and RSD.
