Well i know what you are talking about the swallowing i have been going through it for about 6 months now. It is so scary to not be able to swallow a liquid like water and choke on it. What happen with me is it started with a sore throat which is very common with me. At the time i never had medical insurance so to see a doctor was expense so i took the usually cold drops and syrup. Well after awhile that wasn't working and i couldn't swallow or talk my voice went to mush. Needless to say since i have been in and out of doctor offices. For about 3 months they couldn't figure what the hell was wrong with me. Come to find out i had Esptein Barr which is caused by Mono. and then finally they came to the conclusion that i need to get my tonsil out. So know i'm just wanting for my sugery which could be forever...since i know have insurace through Kaiser. If you have any Questions feel free to email me.
