Charlene Mischier
Dear Stephanie, My name is Charlene, I live in the country of Trinidad and Tobago and I am 33 years of age. I was diagnosed with SLE (Lupus) 2 years and 8 months ago, I was 30 years at the time. In the last two (2) months I have been suffering with Angioedema like yourself. My symtoms have been swelling of the lips, tongue, eye lids, hands, throat and feet. I have been on Piriton 3 times daily, Alegra 180 mg twice daily and most recently my doctor started me on Danazol. What I was told is that this drug does not take effect until three (3) to four (4) weeks. Tomorrow will be two (2) weeks exactly that I started Danazol with no results. I am hoping that by the time I have to see my doctor next two (2) weeks, there will be some results. I suppose it is because of my immunosuppresive condition why it is taking so long, but I have faith that it will work, if not I don't know what then, I suppose I will just leave it up to God. I was really pleased to read about someone else who is on Danazol. Can you please tell me about yourself, how long you have been on it and what results have you gotten. As you can tell, I can't tell you much.
