My 11 year old daughter just got lice for the first time and i have since learned much about the beasts. I used the shampoos and looked at the combs(they are worthless). THE only way to get rid of it is to go out in the sun and go through the entire head , I'm talking five strands at a time and physically remove all nits and live ones yourself. After I shampooed I still found live babies that hatched approx. 4-5 days later. If I had not gone through her hair every single day for approx. 3 hours per day,for two weeks, she would've been re infested. It has been a nightmare. I notified the shampoo company that their product stinks and am waiting on a refund. Good luck.
