I hane suffered with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a maddening case of tinnitus for the last 15 years. I have tried just about everything that the "established medical community" has had to offer as well as the "alternitive community" and I am no better today than when I first started 15 years ago. I have been to Mexico for one month in a hospital there as an in-patient and I have just spent the last two months in Israel as an out-patient at the very prestigious Hadassah Hospital and I am still no better off than before I went to either hospital. My family doctor specializes in CFIDS patience and he is now sending some of them to a neurosurgeon that has just moved here from another town. I just made an appointment with him and the first avaiable date isn't until October 26, 2000. I have alreadt had my MRI and I am supposed to have this Chiari Malformation and be a perfect candidate for this surgery. My family doctor claims that this surgeon has operated on approximately 80 of his patients and all of them are either totally cure or doing significantly better than before the operation. I had never evenheard of this Chiari Malformation untill three momths ago and now it is supposed to be the end-all to cure-all of my problems; Both my CFIDS as well as my tinnitus. If anybody has had anyexperience with this, I would sur like to hear about it. I am at the end of my rope with both of these conditions and it is all I can do to keep hope alive.
