To: Ron Harner..... Have you experienced enlarged arteries in your neck? I had the Chiari Malformation surgery in November 99; recovery slow and still fall a lot, but I do feel some better, but a few months ago the artery on the left side of my neck looked enlarged, but my primary physician didn't seem alarmed, so I wasn't. My cousin was here to visit me last week and asked what was going on with the swollen artery? I hadn't mentioned it to her. My daughter was at the Dr. with me when I first mentioned it, so I asked her to look at it again. She immediately made an appt. with my surgeon for April 4th. The whole artery is enlarged, but there is a pea size lump at the neckline and another one approx. 1" above that. Have you experienced this? Please let me know.
