Ari.....Your daughter's story sounds just like my life (I'm 62).Yes, the surgery is risky, but believe me, just relieving the pressure of those debilitating headaches was worth the chance. I would have reather died than to go through the rest of my life with the headaches, which just got worse. I'm still having a lot of the problems I had before (balance, fainting, etc), but am told the recovery time is long, but the younger you have the surgery, the better the recovery time is, I've been told.
