CFS has no cure. I have tried them all. They all help for a bit and then I collapse. So the best advice I can give you after struggling against it for five years is: accept it. Adjust your schedule and activities to accommodate it. You will have to give some things up, no doubt. But you will at least feel better. We are raised to believe something somewhere will cure what ails us, and so we look and make things worse. I do very gentle yoga for exercise and stress reduction. I limit my activities so that I can do what I really want to do. I have been redoing my work and the way I handle it for over a year in order to take a five day trip over the Easter holiday. I spend no time with stressful people. I don't engage with people a great deal because they take a great deal of energy. I have a five element CFS, and anything that I have tried to help one only makes one of the others worse. So, get acquainted with Andrew Weill and Deepok Chopra and the Dali Lama and God. Then make the most of the good days and the best of the bad days. You will at least save your sanity.
