Lorane Hendriks
He HAD the biopsy (PSA 3.6) and 8% of one of 8 biopsies, showed ca cells according to a Pathologist in Texas (he lives in Calif). The Uro sent the slides & report to Stanford & for a 2nd opinion IT cme back as doubtful. SO, he had another biopsy and the same thing has happened at the Texas lab so, again the uro has sent it to Stanford. He certainly doesn't want a radical Proostectomy or radiation or seeding which all CAN burn the bladder & rectum, & have the % of incontinence & or Impotence, also, with such a SMALL amount..and is quite young ..52. What about whatchful waiting w/frequent PSA's? I am reaading of medicines which cut off blood supply to the tumors, in the "works". Is it safe to wait for that since Prost Ca cells grow slowly?
