hi rose i had the same surgery in augustof 99. i have just developed the same symptoms as you but only in my right eye. i had prk surgery in my left eye 4 years ago and it has been fine. when i went for the second eye to be corrected i asked the doctor if i could have the prk again but he said they hardly ever do it anymore so that's why i did the lasik. i have only gone to one doctor to be checked out and will never go back to her. she said lasik doesn't give you dry eye syndrome. i am going to another doctor this week to see what he has to say. i'm glad you spoke about the tear duct surgery because now i will not go through that. i also would likle to know about others that suffer with this condition after lasik surgery
