Matt You may want to research two things: trimethylaminuria and H.pylori. I was diagnosed with trimethylaminuria 10 yrs. ago but still question it. It's hereditary. The liver fails to metabolise choline and because of this the breath and skin can take on an odor. It's been often referred to as the Fish Odor syndrome. You can be tested for it and there is a support group. I am in the process of researching H.pylori because I want to be convinced of what I have. There is no known cure for TMAU (trimethylaminuria) but staying away from foods high in choline such as eggs, fish, legumes is supposed to help. I hope this has given you some direction I know how you feel.
