I have an 8yr old son who has had a vp shunt since he was 3. In the year 1999 he has had 6 revisions, and now is having problems again. He complains with headaches, vomits occassionally, complains with stomach pain, and now running a low grade fever. He just spent 8 days in the hospital and had all kinds of tests done, including an ICP monitor, and they have no clue whats going on. Can someone please help? He sleeps 12-13hrs a night, and also has congential heart disease, abnormal x syndrome, pervasive mental disorder with autistic tendencies, seizures, and ADD.
