My daughter has been diagnosed w/RSD. She has had 3 bouts with this disease. After the 1st time they said she probably wouldn't get it again, surprise... 2 more episodes after it. Hers was brought on by kicking her foot into the tv cart, the next time her elbow got smashed by a desk and the third was by someone bending back her finger. I'm hoping that her next injury won't bring about another episode. Your husbands symptoms sound classic... numbness, cold, pain, etc. What has worked for my daughter was physical therapy, this works esp. if you catch it early. I wish you luck...
