I need help finding resources for my 13 year son. I was referred TASKCA@aol.com for assistance with the resources with the school district. Need good books current research......counseling specific to this disorder. What is effective treatment. The school has been worthless, they think ADD is a joke, and parents use it as an excuse for their kids. They don't offer asssitance, they just pound on your kid, till he's kick out of school. Children are suppose to be covered under the disabilities act.Special accomadations and all that. Write me if you can help direct me to resources......I'm drowning here! Write me if you can help, or share tips on how to help my son. The docs have been worthless as well!
