i too have a son who has add that has been complicated by the fact that he has a learning disapility on top of it. he is 14 and is starting to get into trouble at school small things that blow up into large issues. i too am looking for resources. i was told of a drug conserta that is new this year that is suppose to be wonderful. My sister has her daughter on it and they both swear by it. she has her daughter seeing a phychologist but it is not unusual to have to see several ones until you find a Dr. that can help. also there is a group you can join called SPAN that is a statewide parent advocacy group in NJ. (973)642-8100 maybe have connections in other states. good luck it is an uphill battle that we havve just begun. I cannot get my son (14 yr) to agree to take medicine. and i see my sweet, kind boy slipping away. i will not give up!
