E. Pritchett, Both of my kids have AS...were not diagnosed until early 20's. No...it does not go away. Find a good rheumatologist and dig for as much info as you can get your hands on and tell him to keep active! Indocin seems to be the anti-inflam that works best for them and a lot of others that I have communicated with. Good luck.
