interesting. My niece developed uticaria when she was six months old. We were told that hers was one of the most extreme cases reported. She has "spots" from head to toe, but mostly on her torso. They are not bothersome, a little itchy. In regards to what you said a developmental delays, she is actually developmentally quite advaced. She was speaking full sentences by 12 months, and fully potty trained by 13 months. She is now eight years old and doing exceptionally well for a child her age. We have had some nasty interactions with ignorant people, especially at the beach, where they think she is contaagious. Another common question for her is whether she has the chicken pox. We have taught her to explain her disorder and educate people about it. She tells everyone that her spots make her special, and they truly do.
