I have large fibroadenoma in my right breast measuring 7cmx6.3cmx3.2cm. It was originally detected 6 years back when it was only 3cmx3cm. Over this 6 years it has grown to the present size.
Based on Doctors recommendation I did ultrasound scan and needle biopsy which confirmed the fibroadenoma.
However due to its large size Doctor is recommending surgery.
I got married one month back and I would like to postpone the surgery to at least 3 months.
I had done another scan 3 months back and there is no change in size during this last 3 months while comparing withthe latest scan taken last week.
Is it okay to postpone the surgery to 3 months from now considering that it is confirmed to be only fibroadenoma and there is no change in size in the last 3 months.
Also is there a chance of my breast getting distorted permanantly due to the surgery?
Is there any other precaution so have to take for the surgery.
Thanks
