Had a similar experience! Perhaps the oral steroids which your mum takes are causing side effects including her sudden fall in temperature, and her giddiness etc.
Side effects should be discussed with your doctor. I was told that side effects from oral steroids may necessitate the addition of immunosuppressants, cytotoxic agents, or biologic therapies to maintain the disease remission. Let me know what your doctor says.
