I would like to get info from anyone with experience with INOPERABLE hydrocephallus. I had a brain tumor removed at age 13 (1976). After surgery, it was discovered I was hydrocephallic. No shunt procedure was performed due to infection risk and the need to replace the shunt with growth of my body. Now, at age 43, I still have enomous ventricles but I've been told a shunt at my current age would likely kill me. Now, I'm at a loss since society considers me mentally ill and I'm unable to hold a job. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Please send to Fshiyaf@aol.com. Thank you! Shiya
