My 11 year old son had a minor case of spontaneous pneumothorax (10% collapse). He was in the hospital for 2 days and it resolved on its own. He did nothing for a week and based on doctors recommendations, was allowed to kick around the soccer ball, shoot hoops, etc. They just told him not to be involved in any contact sports. I have him do soccer drills at practices but don't let him scrimmage and he doesn't get tired during the drills. He has had no problems until recently he said it hurt again while playing soccer but then the dull pain went away 1-2 hours later. He doesn't currently have any pain. Should I be concerned?
