Hello, I too suffer from this awful disease. As you have seen from reading through this message board, we're not the only ones. As far as I can see, if cortisone is not effective, there's nothing to do but give it time . . .and this may mean years. I'm totally disabled from it and can't even drive. I've been to many many doctors. They have no cure.
