I'm thinking of scheduling a tonsillectomy. I saw an ENT speicialist last week and he said he'd perform one if I decided to have it done. I'm still thinking about it. I've gotten about 4-5 bouts of laryngitis/tonsillitis over the past several years. I'm 27 and I do have sleep apnea. I'm just not too thrilled with all the horror stories I've read on this message board, although I have heard from some people that the pain isn't too bad. I'd love to hear from someone who has recently had the surgery or is about to do it. Maybe we could support each other through the experience.
