I had a similar experience with shaking whilst on prednisone for poly the rheumo took me off thyroxine without consulting endocrinologist, the shaking didn't stop and ended up with major problems relating to hypothyroidism, the shaking stopped after I ceased prednisone, the limping will most likely cease as well I had a stiff leg for 6 weeks and then it cleared with no apparent reason. After ceasing pred for several months and persevered with severe discomfit I improved and have not had a relapse for 10 months. Fatique is a problem and I believe there is a link between poly and hypothyroidism.
