Reguarding the Pic line and blood clot. My son had a pic line due to an infection in his leg and he devoloped a blood clot that went from just above his wrist to his shoulder. He was put on blood thinners and didn't seem to have any problems after that. Once on blood thinners, there out of most of the danger. The clot won't travel, but it takes several months to get the clot dissolved. Hope this has helped you .
