My husband has pulmonary fibrosis and has been on oxygen 24/7 for 2 years now at 3 liters. He uses 6 when he is walking with the cylinder because pulse oxygen levels drop rapidly. He is also on prednisone and did the actimune shots. There are a lot of meds he is on.He just got out of the hospital this Monday and is now using a very small dosage of morphine. It is helping with his legs which have bothered him for quite some time but is also making his breathing easier. The Dr's explained it is more of a comfort med than anything, but it helps. He quit the reathing treatments as we did some research n it and found he was better not using it.I wish you all the best and hope we can keep in touch. This disease is so frustrating because they really don't know why you get it.Thought you might like to know that Ron is 65 and oterwise very healthy. The have talked to us about Hospice, but at this point he is refusing it.
