Be careful with blood clots...have your dr. check for Protein C or S deficiency. My husband (34) and his sister(29) both suffer from this hereditary blood disorder, they suffer from this condition, they are both on blood thinners for life. make sure you rule this in or out and know for sure. my kids ages 7-2 were tested and are in fact both Protein C deficient. it is hereditary and it is controlable. please make sure you get checked for this rare disorder. i've heard that aspirin and make sure drink plenty of water, don't sit for long periods of time, walk, keep that blood flow going. Smoking , birth control and medicine that contribute to blood clots are out of the question. hope this helps!!!! i've learned this from taking care of them all!!! it is manageable. Embolism (clot in lungs), stroke (clot in heart), Anurism (clot in brain). don't forget these things do travel. if your leg gets swollen, warm, throbing pain, is is not a good sign. among other things. good luck....
