I wish I new an answer for you, but don't. I have steady noise, and sometimes other noise of some kind with it. I think sometimes it will drive me crazy, but just have to live with it. I wish their was a pill you could take for it, like other ailments, but their isn't. I don't know about you, but sometimes it makes you feel like is a head problem instead of ear, you think all kinds of things trying to diagnose yourself, you wonder if the drs. know the real problem,. I have had an MRI in the past, hearing tests, but nothing is found, but some nerve damage, I have had cracking and popping every time I swallow for years, but that I got used too, this is harder to take. I hope that you find something to help you, I take nerve pills and now started an anti-depressant several months ago. Then I wonder if the medication may make it worse (who knows) I really feel sorry for anyone that has to live with this
