I would never look for acid reflux in a baby since spitting and drooling is a common thing with babies. Some babies almost vomit when they have had too much milk. The position you have the baby in when he/she is being fed is very important as this can cause a lot of problems. Some children even at 9 months cannot take a lot of milk at one time. Your doctor should be explaining all this to you when you go for check-ups. Please tell the doctor what is going on as my doctors were wonderful about this. Also, you can talk to the nurses and they are very helpful. Sounds like this is the first child and of course, we all go through that worry and new experience thing. I really don't think you have anything to worry about - maybe just cut back on the amount at each feeding. If your baby is crying in-between times and stays real fussy all the time, then you should get him/her checked out. Try to have a positive attitude and relax as much as you can when you are feeding, as a child can pick up on your feelings more than you think. Good luck.
