Excessive bleeding can be cancer. I just had a complete hysterectomy. In Aug 2002, my pap was normal. By December, I was hemorraging and the doctor did a biopsy of the uterus and I was positive for cancer. All the cancer is gone now - just had my 3 month check up. Do not let the doctors tell you they don't know what is going on, demand a biopsy just to be sure. Biopsy is not comfortable but can be done in the doctor's office. Be safe - not sorry. God Bless
