I read your post for help and wonder if some of your problems with your back are related to your depression. I assume since you have seen a doc and have had an MRI they could not find anything wrong with your back. Not to say the pain is not there and is not real. I read recently that the National Institute of Health has stated 70% of all physical illness is caused by stress. It is hard to believe unless you have experienced stress and the negative reaction it has on the body. I have experienced it. Being depressed is stressful. There is book by John Sarno called Mind over Back Pain. If you are interested in reading the book and cannot get it at your library I may be able to get you a copy and send it to you. The teen years can be difficult times. I would definetly encourage you tell your mom of your depression. She is the one who can best get you some help. Sometimes parents don't realize that kids can be depressed. It is possible there is help available through the school for your depression. Again, your mom is in the best position to get you the help you need. Good luck.
