Before you have surgery, get a second opinion. Make sure you get a specialist. Your RSD will not go to your hands. Carpal tunnel is from prolong use of your hand in a repitisous manner. If you have it in both hands. Only get one hand done at a time. Let it heal, then do the other. You are slightly limited to what you can do after this surgery.
