My brother had shingles...they have now blistered, scabbed over, and subsided, but left him with VERY SEVERE raw nerve pain, to the point that he cannot even wear a shirt, slacks, etc..was given some type of 'patch' to put at night to have at least 1 spot to 'try' to lay on to sleep! Now a friend of mine in the medical profession has told us of a new FDA approved drug called Kutapressin that supposedly has helped many people for several things, including some aids patients in some way...I guess severe pain. At any rate, it is my understanding this is given by injection and that it has an 85% success rate. You might inquire. Good luck and may God bless you.
