I have not yet been diagnosed with AS but my Chiropractor has seen a lot of signs of it in my x-rays. I am going back to the Rheumatologist in a couple of weeks. The last time I saw him I didn't have any symptoms besides eye infections. Now I am having major back and neck pain. I am currently in school for court reporting, which requires hours of sitting. I am at the last stage of school but am not able to sit there for more than an hour without the pain getting too bad. I don't want to get on meds. I believe they will just cover up the pain and make it worse. My chiropractor insures me that he can help straighten my back out but he can't stop the pain. Any suggestions?
