I appreciate all the info. that everyone has provided. I have had bursitis for over a year now. I am going to a orthopedic surgeon. have had 3 cotizone shots, 3 rounds of physical therapy, ultra sound with steroid cream, ionto patch W/tens therapy, and 3 rounds of steroid pills. I got better everytime, but it always comes back. Went to the pain management clinic, said I will have to live with this pain for the rest of my life, The doctor there gave me celebrex, ultrcet, and trazodone. Pain is so bad at times, I dont sleep at all, or just get few hours. I believe the bending ,stooping ,lifting, excessive walking or sitting, inflames my bursitis. Would love any new info. out there. Too many people have not had success with the bursectomy. Does anyone know what lidoderm patches are? Also what is prolo therapy? Good luck to everyone, may God bless all of us. Sara
